IN Appraiser Pros is an independent directory of Indiana-licensed real estate appraisers. Every appraiser listed here holds an active credential issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA).

Our Data Source

Appraiser license data is sourced directly from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) bulk license database. We do not rely on self-reported listings or appraiser submissions for credential information.

Each profile shows:

• License number (verifiable at IPLA's online portal)
• Credential type (Certified General, Certified Residential, or Licensed Residential)
• Current status (Active, Expired, Inactive)
• License expiration date
• Business name and city (when available in IPLA data)

The database is refreshed automatically. If a license expires or is revoked, the profile is updated on the next refresh cycle.

Indiana Appraiser Credential Levels

Indiana licenses real estate appraisers at three credential levels, each with different scope of practice:

• Certified General Appraiser — May appraise all real property types with no value limitation. Required for most commercial appraisals.
• Certified Residential Appraiser — May appraise all residential real property (1–4 units) regardless of complexity or value. No limitation on transaction size.
• Licensed Residential Appraiser — May appraise non-complex 1–4 unit residential properties up to $1,000,000 in value.

You can independently verify any Indiana appraiser license at the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency verification portal. Search by the appraiser's name or license number shown on their profile.
